Maori Gods

Room 3 wrote stories about what they would do if they were one of the Maori gods we have been learning about.

If I was Tawhirimatea the god of wind and storms, I will kill people and strike lightning down to the people. I would do it because they made me angry

By Isaia

If I was Tu, god of the war I would fight the army because they were being mean to Tu. They were shooting him.

By Lopiseni

If I was Tawhirimatea the god of wind and storms, I would blow the castles down. I would make the storms come down.

By Lio

If I was Haumia-Tiketike, god of fruit. I would give fruit to the poor people and give to the poor farmers and kids. I would give food to the poor schools because they can't order and can't eat.

By Terell

If I was Tu, god of war. I would kill people who are still alive and the army guys are killed by Tu. I had a fight with Tawhirimatea because Tawhirimatea blew me away from him.
